The ILEETA 2025 conference and expo in St. Louis is the nation’s premiere education experience for law enforcement training professionals in the US and around the world. This year, the show featured over 572 instructional hours across 6 days, including certification courses, live-fire range sessions, and over 120 product vendors – featuring V-Armed for the very first time.
For this year’s show, V-Armed showcased its dominance in fully-immersive virtual reality training for law enforcement with the premiere demonstration of a 4-participant Portable VR Training Simulator – a capability that is unmatched in the industry. Up to 5 force options and accessories, full-body VR avatars, sub-millimeter weapon tracking, and direct-to-headset VR content leaves all other competitors practically back in the stone age.
Although the V-Armed team took over 50 walk-in groups to see the power of their multi-participant VR, several Midwest agencies traveled to ILEETA specifically to get their hands on this revolutionary V-Armed tech. Working with the space available, the V-Armed Portable Training System turned a 700 square foot conference room into a multi-person dynamic shooting range, an apartment with a domestic dispute, and even a hotel rooftop with a distressed person and support helicopters shining spotlights from overhead.
After all the positive feedback, the V-Armed team is already excited for next year’s ILEETA conference to demonstrate even more immersive possibilities for police training in a larger training footprint.
